Curriculum was created within the frameworks of design justice, anti-imperialist design history, maximalism, everyday design, surrealist product design, and hacking.

FUTURE FONTS 2021
Created an experimental type specimen for font foundry Future Fonts, exploring the prompt "Hypertext”. Prompt encouraged utilizing newly-released fonts to examine pop culture and overlooked histories of type design. Working within this theme, conceptualized "HyperSelf" — an exploration of cyber psychology connecting texts on cyber identity, surveillance, and ecological waste with personal meditations on emotional mapping. Incorporated dense, maximalist typography, isolating individual characters as glyphs to evoke sensations of emotional diffusion, and of reading a grade school science textbook on after downing an energy shot.
NTS x HBO MAX 2021
Commissioned by NTS and HBO Max's Human By Orientation, a channel highlighting queer and trans stories, to create promotional posters for the release of their TV series Sort Of, a coming of age series featuring a trans Pakistani-American protagonist. Through personal visual direction and copy, explored themes of identity, portals, self discovery, reflection, fantasy, and self-compassion. Employed layered typography, a vibrant color palette, and a distinctive imagery treatment to evoke gender expansiveness and the surreal.
RAVE FLYERS 2018 - PRESENT
Created custom event flyers with a distinctive visual style and direction for music venues, collectives, and artists, both within and beyond New York City. Clients include Nowadays NYC, Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Lot Radio, Mood Ring, and 8 Ball Zine.
GATEBREAK MANIFESTO
Commissioned by Cult Classic Magazine to write a longform article on Gatebreaking, a term I coined to signify the opposite of gatekeeping. The article includes interviews with four artists and community organizers who exemplify gatebreaking through their work. I created assets to enhance the piece, including a digital manifesto cover inspired by yearbook aesthetics and a downloadable gatebreak diary template with mirror motifs encouraging personal reflection.
